Bio
Chloe was very sporty growing up and become obsessed with soccer.
However, at just 12 years old, Chloe was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare cancer that was found in her spine.
She had surgery to remove the cancer, which left her with nerve damage and a spinal injury. Due to her injury, Chloe could not play any contact or impact sports, so she decided to pursue swimming to stay active.
She started swimming only once or twice a week at the Hawkesbury Oasis and moved up to swimming four times a week after joining the Y NSW squad.
When she was 15, Chloe entered her first competition. In 2020, Chloe won bronze in the 100m freestyle at the 2020 National Multiclass Championships.
She added more medals to her resume after winning gold in the S7 400m freestyle and 100m freestyle at the Australian Age Championships in 2024. She was one of the 30 Dolphins named to represent Australia in the 2024 Paris Paralympic games after the Australian Swimming Trials.
