Entries have now closed. Late entries will only be accepted until 5pm Monday March 24th, and all entry times must be achieved prior to the closing date. Please ensure you carefully read the terms and conditions on the late entry form before processing payment.
After this time, absolutely NO further entries will be accepted under any circumstances.
MC Carers Passes:
MC Carer passes will continue to be restricted to swimmers with an ‘A’ or ‘T’ exception. This is aimed at promoting self-sufficient swimmers who exhibit the values and behaviours of an athlete performing at a National level championship. If you don’t believe your swimmer is ready for this level of exposure, regardless of making qualification standards, please consider this when making the decision to attend.
Team Manager passes are available through the club to assist supporting athletes that do not meet the requirements for an MC Carers Pass.
Accreditation applications are now closed.
For further information regarding accreditation positions, please see the below guide.
ATHLETE ACCREDITATION PHOTOS
Swimmers will now have the option of including their photo on their accreditation pass for National Championship events.
Instruction for uploading your photo can be found in the document below.
Each state may only enter one team in each state relay event.
Events 44 – 47, 4x50m Freestyle State Relays can be made up of 4 swimmers from the relevant age bands at your discretion. However, for fairness across gender and age brackets, events 68 – 72, Mixed 4x50m Medley State Relays must be formed with 2 female and 2 male swimmers from the relevant age band.
For eg. Event 68 Mixed 13/14 years State Medley Relay must consist of 2 x 13 year old female swimmers and 2 x 14 year old male swimmers. This ensures that each of the four age groups of each gender will be involved.
Club Relay entries are to be submitted via Swim Central.
State Relay entries can only be submitted via TM File or via a Manual Entry link. Please reach out to Shannon via events@swimming.org.au for a copy of the TM File or for the State Relay Entry link.
Reserves may be added, and final names must be confirmed prior to the start of Event 34 (for Freestyle relays) or Event 58 (for Medley relays).
“Swimming-Up” of younger athletes is not permitted at National Age Championships. All athletes must meet the age requirements for each relay team you enter.
Any Relay Only Swimmers who are not participating in individual events must complete their Relay Only Payment HERE
Please reach out to us if you have any further questions surrounding this process.
