Misha Payne is the head coach of the ACU Blacktown Swim Team and will coach ACU Blacktown athletes Tim Hodge and Chloe Osborn in the Paralympic games in Paris.

Misha was a part of the coaching staff for the World Para Swimming Championships where he coached Tim Hodge to a gold medal in the 200m individual medley (SM9), a silver in the 100m butterfly (S9) and a bronze in the 100m backstroke (S9).

In April of 2020, Misha received coaching ring number 152 from the president of SWIM Coaches & Teachers Australia.
