Knox Pymble win inaugural Triple C Cup

The 2026 Australian MC Age Championships wrapped up tonight under Gold Coast lights as the inaugural Ceeney-Cowdrey-Cole Cup was awarded to Knox Pymble.

With emerging stars Liam Togher (pictured), Alyssa Gillespie and an Australian Dolphin, Declan Budd, racing in their blue, white and red club colours, Knox Pymble finished on top of the table with 366 points. University of Queensland placed second on 333 points, followed by NUswim on 319 points.

The Ceeney-Cowdrey-Cole Cup was introduced at this year’s championships as a new opportunity to greater recognise and celebrate clubs that specialise in developing multi-class swimming in Australia.

The Cup was named after three key figures in the Australian swimming Paralympic movement – Daphne Ceeney (Australia’s first female Paralympian), Matt Cowdrey (Australia’s most succeful Paralympic swimmer) and Ellie Cole (Australia’s most decorated female Paralympian).

Across the three days of racing, a few athletes stood out amongst their peers:

An S9 athlete from regional Victoria, Eli Kerr burst on to the scene and became a four-time national age champion.
