Club Relay entries are to be submitted via Swim Central. (New to Swim Central Relays? Read how to nominate your team HERE)
State Relay entries may only be submitted via TM File or via a Manual Entry link from the State Office Representative. Clubs, parents and athletes cannot complete this process. Please reach out to Shannon via events@swimming.org.au for a copy of the TM File or for the State Relay Entry link.
Each state may enter one team in each state relay event and lane allocations are pre-determined for fairness across the states each year and can be seen below.
Combined age Relays (state or club) can be made up of any 4 swimmers from the relevant age bands at your discretion. However, for fairness across gender, events 56 – 58, Mixed 4x50m Medley State Relays must be formed with 2 female and 2 male swimmers.
Reserves for state relays may be added ahead of time via email, and final names must be confirmed prior to the start of Event 05 (for Freestyle relays) or Event 50 (for Medley relays).
Any Relay Only Swimmers who are not participating in individual events must complete their Relay Only Payment HERE. This payment is for Relay Only swimmer accreditation and is not the total team payment.
CLUBS and COACHES Please review the updated Competition Regulation 21: Relays via the link below. Changes have been implemented around Relay Only swimmer limits and visitors that you will need to factor into your team selection. Swim Central cannot determine whether or not your relay team will meet all entry criteria of CR 21. Relay teams will be checked once entries close and any teams found to be in breach of these rules will be withdrawn.
Please reach out to us if you have any further questions surrounding this process.
A Team Leaders Briefing for the 2026 MC Age and Age Championships will be conducted on the night before Session 1 of the MC Age Championships.
Unlike previous years, the SwimAus Events team will no longer read through the Information Book during the briefing – it is your responsibility to take the time to read the information provided online before attending the event. Moving forward, we will utilise the briefing for a more in-depth Q&A session and we request that all questions be submitted ahead of time to help us prepare.
After reading the Information Book linked below, if you still have questions about the event that was not covered in the Info Book, there will be a link you can use to submit your questions for the briefing.
Questions will later be added into an event FAQ sheet that will be published after the briefing for anyone that cannot attend.
Info Book Version: 04 – 23.03.2026
We have made some changes to the accreditation process and pass types this year to better match the new MC Age, Aus Open and Age Champs format. Please read the information below before proceeding with your application.
