If you would like to add reserves to your relay teams, please CLICK HERE to submit these names. Changes can only be made during the event if you have pre-submitted your reserves.
This form is not a requirement.
Relay changes to already submitted teams must still occur prior to the end of warm ups during heats on the day the relay is to be swum, CR 21.1 has not changed.
You don’t have to submit a reserve if you don’t want to.
Swim Central does not allow easy addition of reserves because it combines the reserve swimmers time into the whole team time.
This form is to save you paperwork on the day.
This form is NOT for relay-order changes. Changes to relay order must still be completed at the Help Desk during the meet. This form is strictly for submitting reserve names to your team in preparation should you need them.
Read more about the changes to the Australian Open HERE.
The ‘age as at’ date for the 2026 Australian Open will be your age as at the 6th April, 2026.

*SAVE THE DATE* (Updated!) Entries will close at 12noon (Midday) AEDT (Sydney) Friday 20th March, 2026. Please be sure to submit your entries before this time! Additional fees will apply for any late submissions, if accepted. Entry times for late entries (if accepted) must be achieved between 1st January 2025 – 20th March 2026. Times achieved outside of this date range will not be accepted under any circumstances, including meets that were uploaded/approved between the original closing date and the late entry closing date. These entries will be declined.
School meets that are held over the entry closing day are not eligible for entry into this meet.
Any Relay Only Swimmers who are not participating in individual events must complete their Relay Only Payment HERE. This payment is for Relay Only swimmer accreditation and is not the total team payment.
CLUBS and COACHES Please review the updated Competition Regulation 21: Relays via the link below. Changes have been implemented around Relay Only swimmer limits and visitors that you will need to factor into your team selection. Swim Central cannot determine whether or not your relay team will meet all entry criteria of CR 21. Relay teams will be checked once entries close and any teams found to be in breach of these rules will be withdrawn.
We have made some changes to the accreditation process and pass types this year to better match the new MC Age, Aus Open and Age Champs format. Please read the information below before proceeding with your application.
Entrants in the Australian Open are welcome to attend the Age Champs Team Leaders Briefing ahead of the MC Age Championships.
The Team Leaders Briefing for the 2026 MC Age and Age Championships will be conducted on the night before Session 1 of the MC Age Championships.
Unlike previous years, the SwimAus Events team will no longer read through the Information Book during the briefing – it is your responsibility to take the time to read the information provided online before attending the event. Moving forward, we will utilise the briefing for a more in-depth Q&A session and we request that all questions be submitted ahead of time to help us prepare.
After reading the Information Book linked below, if you still have questions about the event that was not covered in the Info Book, there will be a link you can use to submit your questions for the briefing.
Questions will later be added into an event FAQ sheet that will be published after the briefing for anyone that cannot attend.
