Activating the Australian Swim Coach Licence is a straightforward, fully online process. Coaches follow a single digital workflow that guides them through each step:
- Create or log in to your Swim Central account.
- Complete the online application via a Licence Activation Course, including personal details and coaching role information.
- Upload required compliance documents, such as you Working with Children Check.
- Confirm Sport Integrity Australia requirements through the linked learning pathway provided.
- Pay the annual fee and complete the SA provided Licence Activation Modules via Swim Central – Learning and Licencing.
Once these steps are completed, the licence is activated for one year.
The streamlined process eliminates duplication across different organisations and systems, saving coaches, clubs, and employers significant time and administrative effort.
Annual Renewal
Renewal is an annual online process with a fixed annual fee, providing certainty for coaches and employers.
Renewal requires coaches to confirm:
- Their compliance documents remain current
- Minimum annual expectations have been met
- Their details and coaching location are up to date
