The Swimming Australia 2025/26 National Flippers Squad has been selected based on performances at the 2025 Australian Age & Open Championships against the selection criteria. The athletes selected in the squad are deemed to be in the window to become members of the Australian Senior Teams in future years.
Selection into the National Flippers Squad provides you with recognition of being one of the top swimmers in the country in the High-Performance Pathway. It also enables athletes to be considered for specific State and Swimming Australia Pathway activities with the aim of preparing identified athletes to successfully transition to the Australian Dolphins Swim Teams.
These activities may include:
- National Flipper Camps / Activities / Support provided by your State Organisation and co-funded by Swimming Australia
- NextGen Camps, specific for each stroke
- Program Visits by Swimming Australia Technical Leads
- Involvement in educational opportunities
The National Flippers Squad supports swimmers who are two to six years from a Senior Podium performance.
